Adopt-A-People

Adopting a people group means committing yourself  (or your church) to doing what you can to see that group come to Christ.  It may involve any, or all, of the following:

·         Pray for the adopted people

·         Pray for guidance from The Holy Spirit in how we can help most affectively

·         Learn everything possible about our adopted people group

·         Visit and get to know the people on a personal level

·         Evaluate our own specific gifts, as individuals, to see where we can help

·         Evaluate our own church fellowship's strengths for planning an outreach

·         Plant a church with indigenous people to build trust among the unreached

·         Work in partnership with churches already established in the region

·         Work with missionary organizations who will help spearhead the work of Christ

·        Formulate an alphabet and teach the people how to read and write their language

·         Find out the physical needs of the adopted people group

·         Donate funds and/ or materials and resources to meet those needs
